Campaign Details

Campaign Code: LifePump-47

We feel it is vital to go beyond just the support of our community to help those far more in need than us. With this fundraising opportunity, we have the possibility to provide people with a reliable and consistent source of water, something essential for life that we daily take for granted. Supporting our cause is simple, but the effects are profound.

About the LifePump Project

Design Outreach is collaborating with overseas partners, local governments in Africa and Haiti, and individuals like YOU to install LifePumps across the globe.

More than 663 million people around the world do not have access to clean water. Many women and children walk 3 to 5 miles a day to find water. Design Outreach seeks to make a significant impact on these statistics through the LifePump, a deep-reaching, durable hand pump designed to last years with minimal maintenance. Thousands of lives in Kenya, Ethiopia, Mali, Malawi, Zambia, and Haiti already have been directly impacted by the installation of LifePumps.

We are very grateful for our fundraising champions and many others for funding our future and sponsoring LifePumps™ for villages in Africa and Haiti. These pumps will provide long-lasting, clean water for tens of thousands of people who desperately need it.
